
For Kids/Parents
General Sunday School Rules:
- Masks are required as servants and children enter and move around the church and inside Sunday school classes.
- Sanitize hands upon entry to the church buildings and before leaving the church. There are sanitizer stations at the entry door and in every class.
- Register your name with the servants.
- Respect and follow all the rules and obey servants directions:
- Always maintain a 2-meter physical distance. Chairs will be organized and separated ahead of time to allow for the required distance.
- No moving around the church facility unless directed by class servants.
- Remain seated in your assigned spot.
- No food or drink are allowed during Sunday School time. If necessary, please bring your own water bottle as water fountains will not be accessible.
- Parents should stay in the cars. Parents are not allowed inside church building.
- Siblings from different groups are not allowed inside the church
- Only 50 people (Sunday school kids and servants) are allowed inside the church building.
Organizers:
- The role of the general organizers is to coordinate with the ushers and the servants to ensure the rules are followed by all. Please contact your group organizer if you have any concern or question

Notes Specific to High School
- The high school group will be divided into two groups
Group 1: Grades 7 and 9 - Estimated number of attendees are 30 kids and 8 servants and 3 ushers for a max total of up to 50 persons.
Group 2: Grades 8, 10 and 11/12 - Estimated number of attendees are 24 kids 8 servants and 3 ushers for a max total of 50 persons
- The two groups will attend alternate Fridays.
- The motivation is to keep the number of individuals in the church below the 50 persons capacity.
Nelly Menshawy will manage Group 1.
Amir Shehata will manage Group 2
- The role of the general organizers is to coordinate with the ushers and the servants to ensure the rules are followed by all.
- Each class location, entrance and exits are outlined in the table below. The intent of the plan above is to minimize the intersection of the different groups.
Washroom rules:
- Only one person is allowed in the washrooms at any given time.
- Wash your hands after using the washroom. Signs of hand hygiene are located in the washrooms
- Sanitize hands after returning to your class.
- Return to your assigned seat.
Dismissal rules:
- Please follow servants’ directions and use entry and exit doors assigned for your group.
- Once dismissed, please exit the church building as directed by the servants.
- Go directly to your parent’s car.
- No waiting in the hallways, gym, classrooms, washrooms, parking lot etc.
For Parents/Families:
- Attendance of a mandatory meeting with the organizers to communicate the rules and guidelines
- Please refrain from bringing your child to church if he/she:
- is sick and/or experiencing any one of the following symptoms: coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, problems breathing etc.
- has been in contact with a positive Covid-19 Person.
- has been directed by Public Health to self isolate
- has arrived from outside Canada within the past 14 days.
- The servants are directed to not admit a child who exhibits any of the above symptoms.
- We will adhere strictly to start and end times. Parents are requested to drop-off and pick-up strictly at the designated time.
- Families and parents are not allowed into the church building during Sunday school.
- Please refrain from waiting and socializing in the church parking lot and only use for drop-off and pick-up.
- We must ensure the church facility adheres to the guidelines provided by the health authorities as well as keeping everyone safe so please help us following the guidelines.

For Servants and Ushers
General Admission:
- Attendance of a mandatory meeting with the organizers to communicate the rules and guidelines
- Register all servants and children on our Sunday school website attendance as they are dropped-off and provide names lists at the end of the day to the designated servant for record.
- Observe children as they are dropped-off to ensure no obvious symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, problems etc.
- Use the provided non-contact thermometer to take body temperature.
- If in doubt, do not admit the child and ask the class servant to talk with the parents.
- If any kid show symptoms during Sunday school, isolate and contact parents
- The coordinator for each group in collaboration with the group servants will provide an occupancy plan. Direct kids to their respective location accordingly.

Sanitization & End of Service Cleaning:
- Spray all seats
- Spray any high touch areas as needed (door handles, sanitizer handles, back table)
- Fill all empty spray bottles with more cleaning solution (15mL disinfectant per 1L water)
- Check stock and levels and inform responsible servant as soon as possible:
- Hand sanitizer dispensers
